Our tour begins with the pick-up from your hotel, starting at 7:15 am. We will then start our Machu Picchu By Car excursion, heading through part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During this journey, we will admire different towns and experience climate changes from the Andes to tropical areas. We will arrive at Santa Teresa, where a buffet lunch awaits us. Afterward, we will continue to Hidroeléctrica, where we will begin our hike to the town of Aguas Calientes. The hike takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Upon reaching Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), our guide will check you into your respective hostels with private bathrooms and hot water. In the evening, we will have dinner and receive instructions from our guide for the visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. It is optional to visit the hot springs.

For this special day in Machu Picchu, we will need to wake up early. Breakfast will be served at your accommodation from 5:00 am, and we will take the bus that connects Aguas Calientes with the Machu Picchu archaeological park. Upon arrival, you will have time to enjoy one of the highlights of the journey, the incredible sunrise according to the season. Then, we will have a 2-hour guided tour conducted by a professional guide who will share the history and secrets of this fascinating place. We will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train or walk to Hidroeléctrica. Upon arrival, transportation will be waiting to safely take us back to Cusco. The Machu Picchu By Car excursion arrives in Cusco at approximately 9:30 pm.
